More sublime esoterica from clubmaster Bruno Silva – here, under his recently successful Ondness guise. Deep(est)-house-meets-deconstructed-dub patterns and dungeon drones – looped, submerged – gradually morphing into semi-exotic flatliner raves, discombobulated voice phenomena providing subtly haunting commentary. While the title/titles reference a couple of 1970s cinematic gore-fests, the present(ed) sonic séances embody the 21st century definition of "psychedelic." Stark without being dark.
